Former Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz named two former top Democratic officials on Sunday, whom he says appear in the Epstein files.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream, Dershowitz clarified that there was never an official \u201cclient list,\u201d but noted that names can be uncovered through other means and that additional information is available.<\/p>\n

Dershowitz previously served on Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s legal team during his 2008 case, in which Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre [the names] in the grand jury transcripts, and do you think a judge releases that?\u201d Bream asked the attorney.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the judge should release it, but they\u2019re not in the grand jury transcripts. There are sealed records by two or three federal judges in the New York courts. I\u2019ve seen some of these materials,\u201d Dershowitz responded.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor example, there is an FBI report of interviews with alleged victims in which at least one of the victims names very important people, and the names have been redacted. I know some of the names from my investigation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge Mitchell, the former senator [from Maine]; Bill Richardson, the former ambassador to the UN; [former Israeli Prime Minister] Ehud Barak \u2026 were all accused. Now, whether any of these people actually did anything wrong, we don\u2019t know, because we know there have been many, many false accusations,\u201d Dershowitz noted further.<\/p>\n

Mitchell, the 91-year-old former Democratic Senate Majority Leader, retired from public life in 2011, while Richardson\u2014who also served as governor of New Mexico\u2014passed away in 2023.<\/p>\n

Dershowitz was himself accused of misconduct in connection to Epstein. Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein\u2019s most well-known accusers who died by suicide in April, alleged in 2019 that Dershowitz was among the men she was forced to have sex with at Epstein\u2019s direction, according to NBC News.<\/p>\n

Dershowitz strongly denied the allegation and filed a defamation suit against Giuffre, the Western Journal\u00a0reported<\/a>. In 2022, she dropped the case, stating she \u201cmay have made a mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dershowitz told Bream that \u201ca woman named Sarah Ransome filed an affidavit. It\u2019s probably in the record. It\u2019s probably been sealed, in which she accused Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Richard Branson of having sex with young people. And she said she had videotapes of this, and then after an investigation, she admitted that she made up the whole story, and yet the affidavit still remains in the court records.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New Yorker<\/a>\u00a0reported in 2019 that \u201cRansome was another imperfect witness\u201d against Epstein.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the fall of 2016, she had suggested to the New York Post that she had sex tapes of half a dozen prominent people, including Bill Clinton and [President] Donald Trump \u2014 but couldn\u2019t provide the tapes when asked. (Ransome<\/a>\u00a0[said] that she had invented the tapes to draw attention to Epstein\u2019s behavior, and to make him believe that she had \u2018evidence that would come out if he harmed me\u2019),\u201d the outlet added.<\/p>\n

Dershowitz told Bream, \u201cSo we have to distinguish true accusations from false accusations.\u201d<\/p>\n

For his part, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform last weekend he has instructed his Justice Department to pursue releaseable, relevant information on Epstein after his administration received blowback from the MAGA base following the release of a DOJ\/FBI memo claiming there is no \u2018client list\u2019 or further incriminating evidence to release on Epstein.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request.
