Julia begged for assistance on social media using the account @IamMadeleineMcCann, explicitly requesting to talk to Kate and Gerry McCann, Maddie\u2019s parents.<\/p>\n

She even shared her experience on Dr. Phil, citing certain physical similarities as evidence. She eventually withdrew her statements and expressed regret to the McCanns, though, after receiving harsh criticism, including death threats.<\/p>\n

Julia revealed that she wondered if she had been adopted after realizing in therapy that her childhood recollections were hazy. However, her relatives denied her allegations when she questioned them, so Julia started searching via missing persons websites.<\/p>\n

However, the situation involving Julia Wendell\u2014also referred to as Julia Faustyna or Julia Wandelt\u2014has recently changed again.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail reports that the 23-year-old says she has had a DNA test, and that a \u201cworld-renowned expert\u201d has reviewed the results and compared them to DNA found at the crime site of Madeleine McCann\u2019s 2007 disappearance in Portugal.<\/p>\n

According to reports, this anonymous expert came to the conclusion that Gerry McCann might be her father. She also shared the \u201cresults\u201d of the most recent DNA test on her new social media account, claiming Kate and Gerry McCann declined to take part.<\/p>\n

The unidentified expert apparently came to the conclusion that Julia\u2019s DNA is a \u201cperfect match\u201d with samples retrieved from the vacation apartment where Madeleine McCann vanished in 2007, which further fueled the debate.<\/p>\n

In addition to the DNA results, she claims that specialists compared her eyes, teeth, and voice to those of Madeleine, the 3-year-old who vanished from her Praia da Luz bed on the evening of May 3, over eighteen years ago.<\/p>\n

The results were examined by Dr. Monte Miller, a forensic specialist from Loma Linda University in California.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe obvious response is that the DNA in the evidence does not originate from the suspect,\u201d Dr. Miller said Metro.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there is a particular pattern that points to an almost certain family connection, and the match is stronger than what I would anticipate from pure coincidence.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Families of McCann and Wendell Oppose DNA Testing<\/p>\n

The McCanns and Julia\u2019s Polish parents are unwilling to undergo a DNA test to definitively resolve the issue, despite the startling findings.<\/p>\n
