A police officer thought he had the perfect hiding spot for catching speeders \u2014 a little curve on the highway where no driver could possibly see him until it was too late.<\/p>\n
He parked there every holiday weekend, radar g*n ready, ticket pad open. Usually, it was easy money<\/p>\n
But this Labor Day was different.
\nHe waited thirty minutes \u2014 not one car was speeding. In fact, every single driver passed exactly at the speed limit. Some even waved and smiled as they went by.<\/p>\n
He frowned. \u201cThat\u2019s strange,\u201d he muttered. \u201cHow are they all being so careful?\u201dAfter another ten minutes of perfect law-abiding traffic, he got suspicious and stepped out to investigate.<\/p>\n
He walked up the road about a hundred yards \u2014 and then he saw it.<\/p>\n
There, standing by the shoulder, was a ten-year-old boy holding a big handmade sign that read:
\n\u201cRADAR TRAP AHEAD.\u201d<\/p>\n
The officer sighed. \u201cWell, that explains that.\u201d<\/p>\n
But it gets better.<\/p>\n
Another hundred yards beyond his hiding spot stood another kid \u2014 this one with a sign that said:
\n\u201cTIPS.\u201d<\/p>\n
And beside him?
