Though old, we believe it is still relevant because of the recurrent questions about Biden\u2019s mental health, such as the\u00a0late-February 2024 questions about why Biden has not taken a cognitive test\u00a0as part of his physical exam.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you were one of our senile president\u2019s handlers, then you\u2019d probably understand that having him do live events is a big, big risk with no real payoff. Why have him do a live event rather than one where, if he starts mumbling about \u201cmalarkey,\u201d ranting about Cornpop, says something nonsensical, or otherwise makes a standard or worse Biden gaffe, that can just be edited out by his MSM allies?<\/p>\n

But, regardless of what common sense might have told them to do, Biden decided to do a live interview with MSNBC\u2019s Jonathan Capehart. It didn\u2019t go great, particularly when it looked like Slow Joe Biden fell asleep during the middle of the interview.<\/p>\n

As you can watch in the video, Biden, while talking, suddenly drifts off and appears to fall asleep\u2026which isn\u2019t exactly what you might hope to see from the supposed leader of the free world.\u00a0Now, did Biden actually fall asleep? No, probably not. But it wasn\u2019t a great look, as Trump\u2019s famous \u201cSleepy Joe\u201d insult is already on everyone\u2019s lips thanks to the current president\u2019s apparent senility, or at least not being totally \u201call there\u201d mentally.<\/p>\n

But the awkward drift off to sleep wasn\u2019t the only awkward part of that video. Perhaps about as bad was what he said, which was his answer to Capeheart\u2019s question of whether his wife, \u201cDr.\u201d Jill Biden wants him to run again. Answering, and looking like he drifted off during his answer, Biden said: \u201cI have not made that formal decision, but it\u2019s my intention. My intention to run again, and we have time to make that decision.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Following up, Capeheart pressed on the Dr. Jill question, asking: \u201cDr. Biden is for it?<\/em>\u201d\u00a0And that\u2019s the part where Biden looked like he fell asleep, eyes drifting closed and no response forthcoming.\u00a0So Capeheart had to try to nudge him into responding, saying \u201cMr. President\u2026?<\/em>\u201d in an attempt to get Biden to wake up, refocus, and respond.\u00a0That worked, with President Biden jumping back into things and stumbling over a response, saying, \u201cDr. Biden thinks that my wife thinks that that I know that we\u2019re that we\u2019re doing something very important.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
