John Cena\u00a0<\/a>stripped completely naked for a skit at this year\u2019s Oscar\u2019s ceremony in Los Angeles, and boy did the audience love it.<\/strong>\"\"<\/figure>\n

The hilarious gag \u2013 performed in tandem with host Jimmy Kimmel \u2013 occurred as Cena was to appear on stage to present the Best Costume Design award, for whic the nominees were\u00a0Poor Things, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Napoleon,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Killers of the Flower Moon.<\/em><\/p>\n

Kimmel asked the audience: \u201c\u201cCan you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn\u2019t that be crazy?\u201d The comedian was alluding to an incident where a streaker ran across the stage at the 1974 Academy Awards.<\/p>\n

Cena followed Kimmel\u2019s quip by peeking around the curtain and saying: \u201cI changed my mind. I don\u2019t want to do the streaker bit. I just don\u2019t feel right about it. It\u2019s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless joke.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe male body is not a joke!\u201d the WWE star added.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Cena did inch out onto the stage to present the aforementioned award to the winner,\u00a0Poor Things<\/em>, his modesty protected \u2013 seemingly \u2013 only by the envelope containing the winning nomination.<\/p>\n

Shortly following the skit, a social media post revealed that Cena was in fact wearing skin-painted underwear behind the envelope.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s actually wearing skin-painted underwear,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0one X user wrote.\u00a0\u201cGreat job by the makeup department.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
