While celebrities dressed to the nines on the night of the Oscars, there was one who went with a more subtle look.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pamela Anderson<\/a>, 56, shocked fans as she walked the red carpet sans makeup. This isn\u2019t the only time Anderson has appeared at a public event without makeup, but it\u2019s arguably the most popular.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her look caused quite the stir online and had everyone saying the same thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although she has admitted to never feeling like a \u201cgreat beauty,\u201d Anderson has always been at the forefront of beauty and fashion. So one would naturally expect she would want to do anything and everything possible to keep up her look, but for Anderson the exact opposite is true.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to see myself old.\u00a0I always said that I would recognize myself when she looked at me in the mirror.\u00a0I want my hair to be naturally gray, not to wear makeup.\u00a0I mean, that\u2019s my comfort state,\u201d Pamela\u00a0said<\/a> in an interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany women who were classic beauty icons have struggled with aging.\u00a0I don\u2019t think it\u2019s difficult for me and I don\u2019t want to fall for it.\u00a0I don\u2019t want to do all these crazy things to myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Rather than get dolled up for her appearances, Anderson began attending public events without makeup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am much more comfortable in my own skin, but I also am in an industry that really focuses on beauty. And I thought, \u2018I\u2019m going to challenge beauty,\u2019\u201d she told\u00a0Today<\/a> of her decision to go makeup-free during Paris Fashion Week 2023.<\/p>\n
