Amid intensifying speculation about her private life, Jennifer Lopez has canceled her upcoming \u201cThis Is Me\u2026 Live\u201d tour.<\/p>\n

The singer and actress announced the cancellation Friday on her website, expressing to fans that she was \u201ccompletely heartsick and devastated\u201d by the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease know that I wouldn\u2019t do this if I didn\u2019t feel that it was absolutely necessary,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI promise I will make it up to you, and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Representatives for tour promoter Live Nation told Billboard that Lopez \u201cis taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.\u201d They also assured ticket holders that refunds would be available at the point of purchase.<\/p>\n

Before Friday\u2019s announcement, Lopez had been set to kick off the \u201cThis Is Me\u2026 Live\u201d Tour on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, followed by stops in Miami, San Francisco, and other cities. The tour was slated to conclude in August with two shows at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n
