Born in South Africa on June 5, 1952, Connie Chiume began her career as a teacher before delving into the world of acting. Her talent and dedication were recognized early on, and she won the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series at the South African Film and Television Awards for her role in \u201cSoul City\u201d in 2000. She went on to win another SAFTA in 2009 for her outstanding performance in \u201cZone 14.\u201d<\/p>\n
