She may be locked in the middle of a back-and-forth spat with ex-husband\u00a0Brad Pitt<\/a>, but\u00a0Angelina Jolie<\/a>\u00a0looked every bit as radiant as ever when she stepped out for the 2024 Tony Awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The actress, accompanied by her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne, arrived at the 77th Tony Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York this Sunday just gone (June 16), with both donning green for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Jolie\u2019s choice of outfit \u2013 an eye-catching, floor-length dress \u2013 as well as her apparent new hair color, has split opinion on the web. I guess people these days always having something to say.<\/p>\n

There may be more than just a hint of drama present in the Jolie clan at the moment \u2013 thanks in no small part to the ongoing strained relations between herself and ex-husband Brad Pitt \u2013 but Angelina and daughter Vivienne were all smiles when they stepped out for the Tony Awards at the weekend.<\/p>\n

The mother-daughter duo both donned green outfits, with Vivienne opting for a green suit ensemble and her famous mom stealing the show in a flowing velvet gown of sea-foam green.<\/p>\n

The dress flaunted a draped, off-the-shoulder neckline, as well as intricate ruching across the bodice, and it should suffice to say it brought out every ounce of Angelina\u2019s natural beauty.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Tomb Raider\u00a0<\/em>star complemented her look with neutral makeup and a pair of gold hoop earrings. Vogue Magazine shared images and videos of Angelina and Vivienne on Instagram,\u00a0labeling<\/a>\u00a0their red carpet presence \u201ca united mother-daughter fashion moment that completely stole the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iconic fashion designer Donatella Versace also posted a picture of the pair from the event, offering a little piece of backstory as to Jolie\u2019s dress\u2019s origins.<\/p>\n

As is so often the case in the modern age, Angelina\u2019s look was quickly dissected by people online, with fans split regarding her outfit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0one fan\u00a0wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAngelina looks so stunning with honey blonde hair<\/em>,\u201d another\u00a0added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A third opined:\u00a0\u201cShe looks great & the dress is sitting just right. Def agree that darker hair would\u2019ve really brought the look together!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Sadly, there were others who were more critical of Jolie\u2019s look.<\/p>\n

\u201cAngelina looks like a velvet drape curtain,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0wrote one detractor on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, it was a good day for Jolie, who ended up bagging her first Tony for her work as a producer on the musical\u00a0The Outsiders.<\/em><\/p>\n

The production took home a total of four awards, including Outstanding Lighting Design, Outstanding Lighting Design of a Musical, Outstanding Sound Design of a Musical, and Best Direction of a Musical. 15-year-old Vivienne, meanwhile, earned recognition as a producer\u2019s assistant for the musical.<\/p>\n
