During a White House briefing on hurricanes Helene and Milton on Friday, President Biden snapped back with \u201cI know\u201d after Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm gently reminded him that it was Vice President Kamala Harris\u2019s turn to speak.<\/p>\n

Harris, 59, joined the virtual briefing, and as Biden, 81, began to wind down his remarks, Granholm prompted him to transition the discussion to Harris.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ve saved lives, not me, but we, all of those folks out in the field have saved lives, but there\u2019s more to do, and I\u2019m going to do everything in my power to get it done,\u201d said Biden as he flipped to the last page of his binder.<\/p>\n

Granholm, 65, seemed to notice that the president had finished his prepared remarks, but she continued speaking, according to the New York Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact of the matter is that we\u2019re in a situation where \u2013 uh \u2013 well, we\u2019re gonna have to \u2026\u201d Biden rambled before the energy secretary, seated to Biden\u2019s left, tapped him on the arm and pointed toward Harris on the monitor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know,\u201d Biden responded. \u201cI\u2019m going to go to the vice president in a second.\u201d He then joked about Granholm, \u201cShe\u2019s my boss.<\/p>\n

As Biden continued, he was interrupted one more time \u2014 by Harris.<\/p>\n

\u201cHang on one second, Madame Vice President,\u201d Biden interjected.<\/p>\n
