\"MayThat\u2019s a terrible airline. Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they\u2019re always late. So, where are you staying in Rome ?\u201d \u201cWe\u2019ll be at this exclusive little place over on the Tiber River called Teste. \u201cDon\u2019t go any further. I know that place.<\/p>\n

Everybody thinks its gonna be something special and exclusive, but it\u2019s really a dump. \u201cWe\u2019re going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope.\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s rich,\u201d laughed the hairdresser. \u201cYou and a million other people trying to see him. He\u2019ll look the size of an ant.<\/p>\n

Boy, good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You\u2019re going to need it. \u201dA month later, the woman came in for another hairdo. The hairdresser asked her about her trip to Rome, \u201cIt was wonderful,\u201d explained the woman, \u201cnot only were we on time in one of Continental\u2019s brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class.<\/p>\n

The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot. \u201cAnd the hotel was great! They\u2019d just finished a $5 million remodeling job, and now it\u2019s a jewel, one of the finest hotels in the city. They, too, were overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner\u2019s suite at no extra charge!<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d muttered the hairdresser, \u201cthat\u2019s all well and good, but I know you didn\u2019t get to see the Pope. \u201cActually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet some of the visitors, and if I\u2019d be so kind as to step into his private room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me. Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me.. \u201cOh, really! What\u2019d he say ? \u201dHe asked me, \u201cWho screwed up your hair?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A woman enters a hair salon and mentions she and her husband will be taking a trip to Rome to the hairdresser. \u201cRome? Why would anyone want to go there? asked the hairdresser. \u201cIt\u2019s crowded and dirty. You\u2019re crazy to go to Rome . So, how are you getting there?\u201d<\/p>\n
