This is partly true: they become more independent, and parents get more time for themselves. But as kids grow, new challenges come up, like teenage rebellion. They are just friends. They met on social media because they like the same things. She tells me, \u201cDad, do you think I\u2019m stupid? Dan and I are just friends.\u201d Yesterday, she went to his birthday party and stayed overnight. He lives in the city, and we live in the village. I don\u2019t mind; I know his address and have his and his parents\u2019 phone numbers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"adab6f7a1b53e052bab1be35ae88049e\" data-index=\"2\"><\/div>\n<p>In the evening, I got a call from his mom: \u201cMr. Matthews, don\u2019t worry. Thank you for trusting our son!
