<\/p>\nRobert F. Kennedy Jr., who is reportedly being eyed for a Cabinet post in President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s administration, had a heated exchange with an NBC News reporter of the subject of removing fluoride from drinking water.<\/p>\n
The journalist interviewed the former independent presidential candidate from Palm Beach, Florida, on Wednesday morning following Trump\u2019s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n

Before Trump\u2019s victory, Kennedy pledged to advise the GOP nominee to push health agencies to eliminate fluoride from America\u2019s public water supply. In his interview with Hillyard, he asserted that fluoride was lowering children\u2019s IQs.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou also talked about fluoride in the U.S. water supply. You would see to ban fluoride in the U.S. water supply?\u201d Hillyard asked.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would advise the water districts that are currently using it that there is a lot of new science out there. In fact, there\u2019s a federal judge decision by an Obama-appointed judge on October 4th of this year in which he sent the EPA back to the drawing board and said, you\u2019ve never done the safety studies on it, by the way\u2026\u201d RFK Jr. said before Hillyard interrupted.<\/p>\n
HILLYARD: And so what does that look like without debating, without going back and forth on the science.<\/em><\/p>\n KENNEDY: It\u2019s lowering IQ in our children.<\/em><\/p>\n HILLYARD: What would you \u2014 on January 2025 we\u2019re 3 months away here, what would you actually do?<\/em><\/p>\n KENNEDY: I think fluoride is on it\u2019s way out \u2014<\/em><\/p>\n HILLYARD: And how would you make that happen? This is your chance is what you\u2019re suggesting to me. How would you make that happen?<\/em><\/p>\n WATCH:<\/p>\n
