Queen Camilla is finally speaking out after a severe chest infection kept her from her royal duties for a week.<\/p>\n

On November 5th, the palace shared that Camilla would not be making her scheduled appearances after her doctors \u201cadvised a short period of rest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend\u2019s Remembrance events as normal,\u201d read a statement, per People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cShe apologizes to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Queen, 77, was not able to attend the Remembrance events this past weekend as she had planned. However, she has returned to her duties as of November 12.<\/p>\n

For her first royal engagement, Camilla attended a reception at Clarence House for The Booker Prize Foundation. In a video posted on X, she updated guests on her health.<\/p>\n
