<\/p>\nSimon Cowell has opened up about the death of mother, Julie, who passed away at the age of 89 in July. The X Factor judge revealed that he was thinking of her while watching an emotional performance of Labrinth\u2019s \u2018Jealous\u2019 from Josh Daniels recently.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Loose Women\u2019s Ruth Langsford and Jane Moore, Cowell spoke about the tearful audition, saying: \u00ab\u2026 it was quite near when it all happened and I think it was the last audition and I wasn\u2019t really expecting what happened.\u00bb He added: \u00ab\u2026 and of course the lyric of the song and it was quite difficult because I thought, \u2018God this is going to be really hard to sit through this.\u2019 \u00abBut then you\u2019ve got to think of [Josh] and it\u2019s his moment but yes it was very emotional.\u00bb Speaking about his mother, Simon said: \u00abShe was a huge fan of the show, she loved the show,\u2026.<\/p>\n
