However, the film wouldn\u2019t be what it is without the stunning performances of Richard Gere and beautiful Debra Winger.<\/p>\n

Even today, at the age of 69, Winger looks as enchanting as ever.<\/h2>\n

At the age of 18, the actress was involved in a life-threatening accident. While working at an amusement park, she fell off a truck, resulting in a cerebral hemorrhage that left her partially paralyzed and blind for 10 months. Despite the odds, she had regained her sight and pursued career in acting.<\/p>\n

Winger\u2019s acting career started back in 1976 with the film\u00a0Slumber Party \u201857<\/em>. What followed was the role of Drusilla, the younger sister to Lynda Carter\u2019s Diana Prince in\u00a0Wonder Woman.<\/em><\/p>\n

During the 1980\u2019s, Winger landed three roles in three movies which took her to stardom and helped her make a name for herself.<\/h2>\n

In 1980, she starred in\u00a0Urban Cowboy<\/em>, with\u00a0John Travolta, who the world went crazy about following his smooth dance moves in\u00a0Saturday Night Fever<\/em>\u00a0(1977) and\u00a0Grease\u00a0<\/em>(1988); she then starred as Paula in\u00a0An<\/em>\u00a0Officer and a Gentleman<\/em>\u00a0(1982) and as Emma in\u00a0Terms of Endearment<\/em>\u00a0(1983), alongside Shirley MacLaine.<\/p>\n
