Look what happened.<\/p>\n<p>ByMonica Pop-<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1277\" src=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/290610890_1060704521221862_7111581917621831737_n-300x158.webp\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/290610890_1060704521221862_7111581917621831737_n-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/290610890_1060704521221862_7111581917621831737_n.webp 411w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" \/><br \/>\nReservoir Dogs\u201d and \u201cKill Bill\u201d star Michael Madsen addressed the death of his son Hudson, who died of a gunshot wound to the head in what was reported a suspected suicide, in January 2022, according to the City and County of Honolulu Dept. of the Medical Examiner.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1278\" src=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7159-207x300.webp\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 207px) 100vw, 207px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7159-207x300.webp 207w, https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_7159.webp 691w\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\nAt the time of his passing, Hudson was 26.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p>The family confirmed the news in a statement to Metro which read: \u201cWe are heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson. His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. We ask for privacy and respect during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, they didn\u2019t make any additional comments as they asked from the media to respect their privacy.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1279\" src=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/m3-300x283.webp\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/m3-300x283.webp 300w, https:\/\/buzflash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/m3.webp 381w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" \/><br \/>\nLater, Madsen opened up about his son\u2019s passing through a statement released by The Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\"><\/div>\n<p>I am in shock as my son, whom I just spoke with a few days ago, said he was happy \u2014 my last text from him was \u2018I love you dad,\u2019\u201d the 64-year-old actor said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t see any signs of depression. It\u2019s so tragic and sad. I\u2019m just trying to make sense of everything and understand what happened,\u201d he continued. \u201cHe had typical life challenges that people have with finances, but he wanted a family. He was looking towards his future, so it\u2019s mind blowing. I just can\u2019t grasp what happened.<\/p>\n<p>Madsen, however, is said to believe that his son was facing struggles after he joined the army because he was mocked after he asked for therapy for his mental issues. Hudson had one deployment to Afghanistan from August 2018 to January 2019 while stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson was married to wife Carlie and according to their social media, the two lived in Hawaii. According to Madse, his late son\u2019s marriage \u201cwas going strong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We are very sorry for the loss.
