As the segment opened, Wallace read from a court filing from Smith that seeks a \u201cnarrow\u201d gag order against Trump to prevent him from continuing to criticize what he believes are highly political prosecutions as Americans continue to believe the Biden administration and Democrats have weaponized the justice system.<\/p>\n
Wallace then told her audience that she \u201cis going to say the thing that people say privately all the time and not on TV very often.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSomething really bad is going to happen. Like shit\u2019s about to hit the fan in this country. Fox News had to veer away from a lunatic spewing hatred and death threats for Democratic officials in New York because of the migrant caucus,\u201d she continued, noting a live shot the rival network aired on Friday showing angry New Yorkers protesting the massive influx of illegal immigrants into the city.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone is on, I don\u2019t even know the word, everyone is, knows that we\u2019re walking into something hideous and no one will do anything,\u201d she continued. \u201cI refuse to believe that nothing can be done. These are people getting their information, in part because of the vacuum being created by people with\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t even know if we call it a spine anymore. That might be an insult to spines, but there are still people out there with followings who can go out,\u201d she went on. \u201cAnd here\u2019s, here\u2019s what I want to ask you. When something happens, what do you want to be able to tell your kids and grandkids you did? Are you good with nothing?<\/p>\n
\u201cYou good with, I didn\u2019t do anything because I didn\u2019t think anyone would listen to me. Trump tweeted something mean about me someday. Because you did something. I tried to do something,\u201d Wallace said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhere are all of the Republicans who still have little slivers of a following in the cesspool that is the MAGA base?\u201d Wallace, a former official in George W. Bush\u2019s administration, insultingly asked guest Charlie Sykes, who hosts the Bulwark Podcast.<\/p>\n
Left-wing media and Democrats have routinely claimed that the system is fair and that Trump has engaged in criminal activities, but his supporters see the system as having been completely weaponized against him \u2014 since his first days in office.<\/p>\n
Emblematic of that is the fact that most Georgia voters believe that the prosecution of Trump by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is unfair.<\/p>\n
According to a recent telephone and online survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports and The Absolute Truth With Emerald Robinson, 56 percent of likely Georgia voters believe Willis is unfairly prosecuting Trump, with 39 percent saying it\u2019s \u201cvery likely\u201d the case.<\/p>\n
Around 37% of respondents do not believe that Willis is unfairly prosecuting Trump, including 28% who believe this to be Very Unlikely. A majority of Georgia voters also said they have concerns about the integrity of elections in their state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
