The exchange was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/program\/white-house-event\/tom-homan-on-kilmar-abrego-garcia-deportation-case\/658975\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noskim\">posted<\/a>\u00a0by C-Span.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI stand by we did the right thing for the safety and security of this country,\u201d Homan said<\/p>\n<p>A judge handling a lawsuit over Garcia\u2019s deportation accused the Trump administration of bad faith in its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/newsfront\/trump-deportation-tom-homan\/2025\/04\/23\/id\/1208024\/\">handling<\/a>\u00a0of the case.<\/p>\n<p>Homan said the bigger picture covers all of America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019re keeping President Trump\u2019s promise to the American people who voted him into office on the number one issue, secure the border, and remove public safety threats and national security threats,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s what we keep doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Homan said there comes a point when one needs to ask, are we favoring America, or the terrorists?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI find it incredible that there\u2019s all this push for more and more and more due process, more process for these designated terrorists, when, in fact, no one asked for due process when they crossed the border,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Homan said he is confident most Americans understand the real issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery time we arrest one of these people and remove them, the country gets much safer&lt;\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Border Czar Tom Homan on Wednesday slammed the ongoing attempts to have deported former Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia returned to the United States.
