I get some sleep with a lot of meds, but I never wake up rested. I\u2019m trying this tonight.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While a third attests:\u00a0<strong>\u201cMy mom taught me this and I taught my children. My son has many challenges, and this helps him relax and fall asleep quickly, he\u2019s 9.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is the military\u2019s sleep protocol, then?<\/p>\n<p>Well, as reported by\u00a0Glamour,\u00a0<strong>\u201cIt was created specifically for soldiers in the US military and is geared to work even in intense environments\u2014like a literal battlefield.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0Medium, American track &amp; field coach Lloyd Bud Winter clarifies it in his 1981 book\u00a0<strong>\u201cRelax and Win: Championship Performance.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More importantly, how do you apply this technique in your own home?<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0Forces, there are six easy steps to follow.<\/p>\n<p>You have to first de-stress your entire face. Shut your eyes. Take deep, deliberate breaths.
