Trump Briefing Abruptly Cut Short After Medical Emergency in Oval Office President Donald Trump’s press conference on Friday was unexpectedly cut short

after a sudden medical emergency involving one of Dr. Mehmet Oz’s children.

 

Dr. Oz, recently appointed head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,

was being sworn in during the event. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt abruptly ended the briefing, instructing reporters to leave as the live

broadcast was cut. FOX News reported that a child was escorted from the Oval Office, prompting concern from Dr. Oz’s wife, Lisa,

and action from both Dr. Oz and President Trump. No official White House statement has been released regarding the incident
