The 78-year-old actress wowed fans with her timeless beauty as she joined Hall of Fame inductee Henry Winkler and American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson at the Television Academy’s 27th Annual Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday, August 16, at JW Marriott LA Live.

“I see myself on TV, and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy,’” she admitted.
But here’s the kicker: she finds beauty in authenticity and feels a twinge of sadness when women try to fight time with surgery. “Many of them were strikingly beautiful in their youth, but altering their appearance later in life seems like a denial of who they are now,” Field explained.

Field knows the industry favors youth, saying, “There’s just so few real stories written about women of any age, but certainly, certainly as you get older it gets less and less and less and less and less. And it’s usually women who are looking for a man. There are so many other stories you could have told.”
