Sally Field\’s new look at the Television Academy Hall of Fame Ceremony blew the public\’s mind. 🤯 Her THEN & NOW photos 👇🏻

Sally Field turned heads at the Television Academy’s 27th Annual Hall of Fame, proving once again that aging gracefully isn’t just possible — it’s a power move.

Standing alongside stars like Henry Winkler and Sarah Paulson, she owned the night with effortless elegance and charm.

This weekend, Sally Field, the Oscar-winning icon we’ve all grown up loving, proved once again that age is just a number.

The 78-year-old actress wowed fans with her timeless beauty as she joined Hall of Fame inductee Henry Winkler and American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson at the Television Academy’s 27th Annual Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday, August 16, at JW Marriott LA Live.

Surrounded by brilliance

Winkler couldn’t hide his excitement, posting a cheerful selfie on X with the trio beaming. “Surrounded by brilliance!! Wha a night ⁦@MsSarahPaulson ⁩ ⁦@sally_field wowed [sic],” he captioned.

Fans immediately lost it over seeing these legends together, but let’s be real, it was Sally Field who stole the show. Comments flooded in:

  • “Sally Field and Dawn Wells, the prettiest actresses ever.”
  • “Sally Field is still gorgeous my god, that woman doesn’t age. Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ [sic].”
  • “Doesn’t Sally Field look incredible!!!”
  • “Sally Field still looks great!”
  • “Sally, you look magnificent!”

For over six decades, Field has graced our screens, starting as a teenager in Gidget in 1965 and building a career that’s nothing short of legendary. And she’s done it all on her terms. Choosing to age naturally, Field revealed back in 2009 that she has never gone under the knife.

“I see myself on TV, and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy,’” she admitted.

But here’s the kicker: she finds beauty in authenticity and feels a twinge of sadness when women try to fight time with surgery. “Many of them were strikingly beautiful in their youth, but altering their appearance later in life seems like a denial of who they are now,” Field explained.

“I’ve moved past people-pleasing”

Even now, Field is unapologetically herself. “I’ve moved past people-pleasing,” she said in 2024. She recognizes society’s ridiculous pressure on women to hide aging, but she refuses to buy into it.

The harsh truth? Hollywood isn’t exactly cheering on women over 50. Field knows the industry favors youth, saying, “There’s just so few real stories written about women of any age, but certainly, certainly as you get older it gets less and less and less and less and less. And it’s usually women who are looking for a man. There are so many other stories you could have told.”

Yet, Sally Field keeps her focus on what really matters: the lessons life brings with age. The raw honesty she shares echoes her 2018 memoir In Pieces, where she reflected on growing older with grace and wisdom.

For Sally, aging isn’t a curse. It’s a gift. Time has given her clarity, confidence, and the freedom to embrace herself fully, proving once and for all that beauty isn’t about staying young, it’s about owning every year with pride.
