Berrisexuality is on the rise… and here\\\’s what it means!

Berrisexuality is a newer micro-label describing people who can be attracted to all genders, but who feel a noticeably stronger, more frequent pull toward women, feminine, and androgynous people.

Attraction to men or masculine-aligned people isn’t absent; it’s usually lighter, rarer, or secondary. For some, that subtle imbalance has always been there, but traditional labels like bisexual or pansexual felt too broad, as if they flattened a complex inner landscape into something simpler than it really was.

Online, especially on Reddit and queer wikis, people describe relief at finally finding a word that mirrors their experience: “Now I don’t have to pick,” one person said, “because berri fits like a glove.” Others stress that no one is required to adopt micro-labels; they’re tools, not tests. Yet for those who’ve spent years feeling “not quite right” in existing boxes, berrisexual offers something powerful: language that doesn’t just tolerate their nuance, but honors it.
