Travis Kelce makes statement after Kansas City shooting – and it’s heartbreaking

The city of Kansas is reeling after the shooting that took place during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade yesterday.

According to reports, shots rang out at Union Station, with Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves confirming in a press conference that there had been one deceased and 22 victims left wounded.

Among those to express his grief in the aftermath of the shooting was Travis Kelce, in Kansas with his teammates for their victory parade.

“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me,” the tight end, 34, wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted: “Praying for Kansas City… 🙏🏽🙏🏽
