‘Dangerous Liar’: SNL Alum Jon Lovitz Blasts Rashida Tlaib

Jon Lovitz, the Saturday Night Live alum, actor, and comedian, has joined the ranks of celebs who have been critical of the left and willing to speak up for conservative values. Lovitz has been critical of cancel culture, and despite being a self-professed liberal, he has still survived numerous cancellation attempts for the sin of calling out the left.

Lovitz is also Jewish, so when Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan Representative, took to X to praise the protesters who illegally entered the Cannon House Office Building to protest in favor of Hamas terrorists, Lovitz was quick to call her out on social media.

The Cannon House protest, which many are calling an actual insurrection, brought Talib to social media with praise and thanks, specifically to Jews who took place in the illegal event. Lovitz blasted the far-left representative in subsequent posts to his X account.

While irrefutable evidence has come to light that exonerates Israel from the alleged hospital explosion and instead displayed Hamas as the culprits, Tlaib ignored the evidence, instead opting to stoke division, and Lovitz is having none of it.

Lovitz took to his account and said: “Yes. Thank you for asking Israel to open its borders so Hamas can pour in & kill them.” Lovitz also asked, “Rep Talib, why not admit Israel DID NOT DROP THE BOMB on the hospital. You want to co-exist w/ Israel? How about denouncing Hamas & getting a government in power who wants that too!”

After the bombing story blaming the Israeli forces for blasting a civilian hospital, many took to social media, including the mainstream media, to criticize the Israelis without waiting for the full story. Some in the media have admitted the mistake, but Tlaib has yet to let go of the false narrative.

Lovitz blasted out to Tlaib: “FALSE!!!!!!!!!! No, they didn’t. You have made a mistake. Are you going to tweet about it? Or just leave this false tweet up on your page, for propaganda?”

Some on social media pointed out that Jews were involved in the protest, to which Lovitz replied: “Good point. They’re morons as well. This war is about Hamas, not Palestinians and their rights. And Hamas would gladly kill all the Jewish people that protested in the Rotunda. Protesting about a bomb Israel didn’t drop!”

Many are blaming the conflict on Israel despite evidence to the contrary that the nation-state doesn’t want war or to simply kill Palestinians. Lovitz elaborated: “I, like Israel, don’t wish death on any civilian Palestinians. It’s awful! Unfortunately, Hamas lives in Gaza, slaughtered over 1300 Israeli civilians, kidnapped & 150, in order to start a war w/ Israel! This is war!!! On Hamas!! If you don’t want war, don’t start one!”
