Famous Grammy-Winning Singer suffered a stroke and died in the middle of last night

Morgan released the group’s newest song, “Hold on Me,” in early February. Morgan died on Sunday at the age of 46.

Morgan Heritage is a popular reggae band that Morgan and his four siblings started in 1994.

The band got ideas from their father’s work. Denroy Morgan was a member of the Black Eagles reggae band that started in New York City in the 1970s.

The family of Morgan Heritage posted on social media that a family member had died. They asked for privacy and thanked everyone ahead of time for their love and support.

A reason for Morgan’s death was not given.

Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness said that the news made his “heart heavy” in a post on X, which used to be Twitter.

Holness said that Morgan’s death was a “colossal loss” for Caribbean music and Jamaica.

Morgan Heritage has had a lot of success over the years, touring all over the world and putting out more than a dozen albums.

A Grammy was given to the reggae band in 2016 for Best Reggae Album Strictly Roots.

After the album Arakedabra came out in 2018, the group was nominated for a second Grammy.

Morgan Heritage’s music is a mix of roots reggae, lovers rock, soul, R&B, calypso, gospel, dub, and sometimes funk and dancehall, according to AllMusic.com.

Bobby Digitals, one of Jamaica’s most important producers, has worked with the band.

Don’t Hafti Drea, Down by the River, and She’s Still Loving Me are some of their biggest hits.
