Jennifer Aniston dazzled fans when she appeared at the 2024 Emmy Awards in a sparkling champagne colored gown that she says was “held together” with pearls and rhinestones.
Blessed with “timeless beauty,” the 55-year-old star left many people breathless as she lit up the red carpet on her path to the gathering of Hollywood’s elite.
But some critics are getting tired of her simple glamor, saying she’s “overrated” and “always wears that same style.”
In 2002, Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards, where she took home her first win for her role as Rachel Green on the hit TV series Friends.
Aniston, who was 33 at the time, appeared in a pink silk Christian Dior gown that featured sparkling sequin beading and a halter neckline that highlighted her stunning silhouette. The star left her blonde hair loose, her natural waves cascading over her shoulders.
When she stepped on stage to accept her award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, the genuinely surprised star clutched her Emmy in one hand and thanked her “family and dear friends,” along with her “dear husband,” Brad Pitt, whom she divorced in 2005.
Ninth Emmy nod
On Sunday September 15, Aniston again walked the red carpet of the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the Television Academy’s Emmy Awards, where she received her ninth career nomination, this time for her role as Alex Levy in The Morning Show.
The star was Picture Perfect in a shimmering strapless gown that hugged her fit physique, and her sun-kissed mane flowed loosely over her shoulders.
Adding another layer of sparkle to her look, she wore on her wrist a diamond tennis bracelet by Tiffany &Co.
Aniston, who Vogue says can “wear a bag over her head and we’d still be obsessed,” wore natural makeup that highlighted her perfect features and painted her nails a twinkling white.
“I’m held together with every inch of my life,” Aniston told Entertainment Tonight of her dress, made of rhinestones and pearls. “It’s Oscar de la Renta, it’s simple and it’s beautiful.”
