Millions of people were instructed to prepare for the moment that Hurricane Milton would make landfall yesterday. But we humans were not the only ones who needed to stay weather alert. Our animal friends also had to adjust their plans. But creatures who live at the zoo did not have to prepare alone. Instead, they got a helping hand in the form of the caregivers who always have their back. This was certainly the case for the animals at St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park.In order to keep their animal friends safe, many of them were temporarily moved indoors. That way, they would be kept away from all of the flooding. That said, it seems their alligators were just fine outdoors. In fact, one employee captured incredible footage during a rainy moment yesterday. Between the dreary weather, the alligators bellowing, and the large birds flying at a distance, itโs no wonder the man says heโs โgetting Jurassic Parkโ vibes! โIn the event you cannot check your Waffle House index, please listen for the gator warning system,โ someone jokes in the comment section, with another adding, โGators and rain. Thatโs Floridian ASMR.โ
