World’s Heaviest Woman Drops Jaw-Dropping 763 Pounds

At 763 pounds, Charity Pierce gained notoriety as one of the world’s biggest people. She appeared on “My 600-lb Life” and ultimately decided to have weight-loss surgery, after which she had plastic surgery to remove 40 pounds of extra skin. She had numerous skin procedures and called herself a “prisoner of her own body.”

Charity’s journey to a healthier weight included strenuous exercise and a reduction in daily calorie intake (from about 10,000 to 1,200). Though she faced psychological obstacles, her motivation to lose weight for her future husband was unwavering.

Due to varying records, identifying the chubbiest woman in the world is difficult. Although others have surpassed it, the official Guinness record stands at 647 pounds. Despite setbacks, Charity’s story shows how important it is to tackle obesity, and how the love and support of family and friends can make all the difference.
