Trump Stuns Fox News Host When He Calls In During Live Show

Former President Donald Trump stunned Fox News viewers, and a host, with a call-in to a late night show on the network.

Host Greg Gutfeld was stunned when he received a random phone call from the former president when his show was live.

“Hey, Mr. President, I’m live now. Say hello to my audience,” the host said as the audience applauded. “So don’t say anything that’ll get you in trouble. Alright.”

“At this point, what difference does it make? We’re doing well, we’re leading in the polls,” the former president said.

“Alright, Mr. President,” the host responded.

“He was 8 points down, and they said he has to get out, and they basically staged a coup. And, you know, let’s all see how it happens, but I think we’re doing very well. I think we’re gonna do very well,” the former president said before the host had to get off the phone.

“Alright, Mr. P, I gotta go. I’ll see ya. Bye-bye,” he said. “I told you he was gonna call.”

He called into the show after Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Marth MacCallum had to end their interview with him where he gave his live response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ acceptance speech for the Democrat presidential nomination.

“Well, the biggest reaction is: Why didn’t she do the things she’s complaining about? All of these things that she talked about –“We’re gonna do this, we’re going to do that, we’re going to do everything” — but she didn’t do any of it. She could do it tonight by leaving the auditorium and going to Washington, D.C., and closing the border. She doesn’t need a bill. I didn’t have a bill. I closed the border and created the safest border we’ve ever had in the history of our country. She could have done all of these things, and she could still do them,” he said at the start of the interview

“She’s got four and a half, five months left. She can go there right now, she can do many of the things she’s talking about and complaining about. It was a lot of complaining,” the former president said.
