Biden Called Out For Behavior During Veterans Day Event: ‘So Embarrassing’

President Biden generated a new wave of scorn and ridicule online Saturday after a video clip went viral over something that occurred during the official Veterans Day event at Arlington National Cemetery.

In the clip, Biden appeared to forget what he was supposed to do, freezing up at one point during the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, as aides had to direct him where to stand near U.S. military members while attending the solemn memorial, Fox News reported.

Users on the X platform tore into Biden, with one calling it “so embarrassing.”

“Video of the event captured Biden placing the wreath in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Saturday while Vice President Kamala Harris, representatives of the U.S. Armed Forces, and a large crowd of civilian guests looked on,” Fox News reported.

“Once given the wreath by a U.S. Army service member, the president transferred it to the stand in front of the tomb. As Biden turned away from the wreath, he hesitated, unsure of where to go. He turned around to face the service member,” the report continued.

At that point, Biden then waited for the U.S. Army sergeant to signal or cue him where to go next. The soldier appeared to direct Biden to get back in line next to the vice president for the remainder of the ceremony.
