The massive human tragedy caused by the Los Angeles fires seems to have no end in sight. The number of lives destroyed has not yet been finalized, and may not be for quite a while. Sadly, however, yet one more of those innocent people killed by the ravaging flames has reportedly been identified. Dalyce Kelley Posted That Her Grandmother’s Passing Is ‘Devastating’
Kelley wrote on Facebook, “Thank you to ABC 7 for featuring our beloved grandmother #dalycecurry who has been missing from the #eatonfire in #altadena – about an hour ago the coroner confirmed her remains were indeed found at the property. #RIPMOMMADEE??
She added, “We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”
According to KABC via People, Kelley saw her grandma for the final time “at around midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 7, which is the day the fast-growing blaze in the Pacific Palisades area began.”
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner Reportedly Has Not Yet Confirmed Dalyce Curry’s Death
That Conformation Is Being Awaited
According to People, a spokesperson for the Department of Medical Examiner said via email that “a decedent by that [Curry’s] name” hasn’t been “positively identified.” When that identification is made, information will be available on the department’s website following notification of the family.
