The Daily Mail shared that Forrest was a driver for the company of the vehicle that he was murdered in. Police discovered him in the back of the vehicle on Monday afternoon. Upon finding the body, they also noticed that front door of the vehicle was shattered in as well.
After police responded to the 911 call they found Forrest unconscious and unresponsive lying in a pool of blood in the back of the vehicle. At this time, Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
A coworker revealed that they last saw Forrest around 8 am on Monday morning, however he had failed to make his scheduled pick ups for the day. When the coworker could not reach Forrest on the phone, they had the brilliant idea to track his company ambulette.
After tracking the car, police arrived to the location in the Bronx where they found Peter Forrest’s body. Video footage shows the ambulette pulling into the location. Police believe Mr. Forrest was already dead at the time. Then, a sedan pulls up to the vehicle and a man emerges. He gets into the sedan and it speeds off.
After discovering his body and the footage, police have ruled Forrest’s death as a homicide. They are currently investigating the incident. At this time, police have not released any more information on Forrest. This leaves fans speculating on how exactly the ’80s singer was murdered.
