Brazilian influencer Ricardo Godoi has sadly died after being given a general anesthetic during a full-back tattoo procedure. The 45-year-old enlisted a tattoo studio to create the massive design and according to The Daily Mail, arranged for a private hospital equipped with the necessary tools, staff, and medication to complete the process.
Ricardo Godoi Ran a Successful Luxury Sports Car Business
Godoi, a successful entrepreneur known for importing and selling luxury sports cars such as Ferraris and Lamborghinis, is survived by his wife and children. Authorities have launched an investigation into his death, which remains ongoing.
The tattoo studio owner, who was set to ink the influencer, reportedly shared their thoughts on the tragedy.
“What happened was that, at the beginning of the sedation and intubation, he went into cardiac arrest,” they explained, per The Daily Mail. “That occurred before they even started tattooing him. He was quickly checked and a cardiologist was called in to try to revive him, unfortunately without success.”
They said Ricardo was both a valued client and a close friend, and the studio deeply mourns his loss.
