Following the mid-air collision of an American Airlines aircraft with an Army Black Hawk helicopter, horrifying tales are starting to surface.
One guy claims that his passenger wife texted him that she was ready to land before their discussion was abruptly interrupted. In an interview with WUSA, Hamaad Raza expressed.
His hope that, after the Wednesday night collision, police would retrieve his wife’s remains from the icy waters close to Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C.
The helicopter was on a training flight with three troops when it crashed with the AA aircraft, which was transporting sixty-four passengers from Wichita, Kansas to Washington, D.C.
When asked when he had last spoken to his wife, Raza said that she had texted him to let him know she would be arriving in 20 minutes. He then showed the reporter her message on his phone.After responding to his wife’s message, Raza claimed to have known “something was up” even though his text message was unsuccessful.In an effort to locate any survivors and gather fragments of the aircraft, rescuers have begun a thorough search in the Potomac River.At least 28 dead have been found so far, including one from the helicopter and 27 from the aircraft. There are no survivors, according to the D.C. fire department.
