Two-year-old Ava Ann Marie Tabor, a joyful and loving child from De Queen, Arkansas, tragically lost her life after being beaten by 19-year-old Wesley Davis, who was babysitting her. On March 4, 2025, Ava passed away at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, leaving her family devastated. Her mother, Kylie Perez, shared an emotional farewell on Facebook, expressing her grief and anger towards Davis for taking away her daughter.

Davis initially faced charges of first-degree domestic battery, but after Ava’s death, the charge was upgraded to first-degree murder. He was held on a $1 million bond. Ava’s family, in their grief, chose to donate her organs to help others in need. A funeral for Ava will be held on March 13, 2025.
This tragic case has shaken the community, and authorities urge the public to allow the legal process to unfold. Rest in peace, little Ava.
