Who is Patrick John Wayne?

Patrick John Wayne is an American actor and the son of legendary Hollywood icon John Wayne. Born on July 15, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, Patrick followed in his father’s footsteps and built a career in the film industry, especially during the 1950s through the 1980s.

He appeared in over 40 films, including many alongside his father, such as The Searchers (1956), McLintock! (1963), and Big Jake (1971). Patrick Wayne also starred in several leading roles of his own, particularly in adventure and science fiction films like Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) and The People That Time Forgot (1977).

In addition to his acting career, Patrick Wayne has been active in charity work and served as the chairman of the John Wayne Cancer Institute. Though not as prominent as his father, he remains a respected figure in classic Hollywood circles and among Western film fans.
