Miranda Lambert is catching heat for her behavior at a recent music festival. Many fans are disappointed and say they’ve lost interest in her. It’s not the first time her actions on stage have upset people.
Country music star Miranda Lambert is facing backlash for how she behaved at the Montana Festival. A video shared by an attendee on July 14 shows Lambert reprimanding the crowd during her performance, which caused a lot of people to leave.Accompanying the footage with text that reads, “Miranda reprimands crowd at Under The Big Sky in Montana,” the video shows the artist addressing the crowd. Lambert, who donned a cowboy hat and denim dress with tassels, was unafraid to give the audience a piece of her mind.
Lambert highlighted the fact that the crowd’s attention was not on her. Speaking with her southern twang, she asserted, “I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way,” pointing to herself as she said the last phrase.
However, while the majority did not agree with what Lambert did and thought her actions were distasteful, some felt differently. “Honestly she was amazing. We were right up front and loved every second of it,” praised another concertgoer.
Similarly, an admirer gushed, “🔥🔥🔥🔥 I LOVE her. Always have. Has been a huge influence for me. She is just brutally honest. Something so many of us lack. Honesty!”
Lambert has long been honest about how she feels, especially when it comes to her performances. The fuss she caused at the Montana Festival is not the first time the “Wranglers” singer has reprimanded her fans.
While performing her hit song “Tin Man” at a past concert in Las Vegas, Lambert stopped the show to address the audience. She was upset by a group of women who were taking selfies during her performance.
A few bars into the track, she stopped singing and asked her band to stop playing. Pointing to the ladies, Miranda Lambert expressed, “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, and it’s pissed me off a little bit.”
